This is brand new to me but as I get older I find new ways to branch out. So here is my first painting done in this style.

This first en-plein air is an impresively good one in my opinion. You almost jumped the impressionism to get a more cezannian style here ...

I have to agree with all of the above. Interesting plein air piece. I also like the play on words in your description about finding new ways to "branch" out. :)

Thanks all. I appreciate all the feed back. I wish I had seen that pun coming. I feel ashamed that I didn't see it when I wrote it. :D

J - Glad to see you joining the avant gard! If you look at my Gallery posts, you will see 3 piece of recent Plein Air Digitals I have done - Dr's Views, and Fall riot. It is now almost "practical" to go out and paint on computer. (The Dr's View images were commissions)

I have been enjoying your work quite a bit both here and at WetCanvas. :)

Thanks gzairborne As far as the colors go I actually created the pallet first before painting. I mixed the colors up on a layer and then exported it. I Then brought it in as a ref to choose my colors from. A great little trick I learned from reading through the threads here.

byroncallas- Thank you I appreciate it.
