Hi Mike, Thank you, I am so happy you liked it. There I was viewing Peter's beautiful skies, listening to Cherokee music and I thought about your story the times, and the people and thought I would play with oils for a bit.:)

It looks like Pete's sky is a remarkable facilitator to express the best of each one talent. Fantastic use of it on this bold-looking portrait.

This is a wonderful painting Sandy in many respects. It is expertly painting and the face is the face of someone who could really tell a story. I think this is one of your best.:)

Due to the title I expected something different, but it's really cool Alexandra. Strong facial attributes, very iconic. Well done.

Thank you Belvrog! It is so relaxing to paint while listening to music, and you never know what is going to be-his face was just there in my mind, and I wanted a specific expression, maybe slight melancholic as his way of life was about to change. I want to go back and work on him especially the eyes.
