I thought I would give this a try. It is mostly watercolor and felt pen. that
seems to be my new thing. I did use chalk and crayon on top of felt pen
to add texture to some of the feathers. very little pencil. I have about 10 hours in on it.
I also used a sticker I made called a paint splatter on the branches.

A mostly profitable and masterful use of such tools and some AR features only a real artist could achieve, dear Albert!

Amazing! It really has that watercolor look! And, it's a wonderful painting. Not just a "boid on a stick" but rather a very well done composition!

One of the amazing things about ART RAGE is the possibility of discovering whole new ways to achieve a certain look. Each painting is unique in that sometimes duplicating the effect is not easy. Serendipity plays a big part in discovering what you can do with the tools available. This painting is so very well done.

Very cool, GZ, although the title makes me think of a Chinese menu. Is there such a thing as a bird called a seven color bird?

Well it looks great.

Thank you Scott glad you liked it.
Silvy thank you and I am glad you liked the tutorial as well.
D Akey. yes, there is such a bird. I only found out about it this year.
it usually does come with spring roll and fish sauce if you request it. :)
