Thank you both very much for looking at my artwork and for your replies,I have modified this picture just a little by adding a figure, The maid is just throwing out some breadcrumbs for the birds( Thats what I imagine she's doing),I think the figure just breaks the stillness of the first picture,bringing it more to life if you know what I mean, Thanks again for your replies....Jack.

Jack, I admire your work so much, you make the painting come alive, the clarity is so wonderful, this painting is magnificent, I would just love to watch you paint to see how you get that wonderful blending and details...beautiful painting as always:):):):););););)

semd74...Thanks for asking,I just do a rough sketch first, then fill in details on a larger scale( 3000 pixels)scale down when finished,I did go up to 4000 at one point, generally use a small size picture for the rough sketching part, I have found some parts showing progression which I show below....hope this helps....Jack.

You can see which parts are still rough and which I have started to detail, the size is best increased to do your detail work,much better than trying to do it on a small size, thats too much like keyhole surgery,lol,...Hope this is of some help....Jack.
