You're moving fast and sometimes that's sometimes more honest than laboring over one perfect finish, especially when the mind is racing and you want to get it all down fast before the thoughts get away. The conversational quality is strong still as it has been with your bus sketches all along. And since they say one picture is worth 1000 words, then you're going a mile a minute. Lots to say. Dear ATPlus, I guess Jack the Reaper is too pleased with Your artworks to even think to something else than enjoying them for the next couple of decades at least and I wish too that I may start to call You One Hundred+ and more, also for quite a personal interest too, to go on painting for quite some time! ;)
To get smoother effects, You may rely on different options (and mixes of them): using the airbrush, blending (coupling hard and wet knife mainly) and use several layers transparent enough because of thinned paint or higher transparency layer <100%).

I tried to look up the original from which you're working on Google but got no hit. So I can only go by what I suspect.

To my eye, it looks like the nipples are high. They may not be. But based on the position of the shoulder (which is better so well done there), they look high even if he is sort of leaning back. The nipples on the human body are landmarks that show how the body is angled and are rather important to get right even if subtle. They're also measuring points for when one is counting heights by using the size of the head as the measurement.

The overall looks awesome. Very nice facial expressions especially. But let's wait to see what the Italians think. They know nipples. ;););)

That Jewish bloke what wrote the book, seems like he should be applauded for being able to pull off writing a whole book at this stage of life. That's a pretty massive undertaking that I would find daunting even at my youthful age about to break 60. Bet the ghost writers were busy helping him.
But it's a very canny portrait that. I can see the ethnicity of it in a sort of caricature form. Very cool and you probably only had the television to draw from? Not too shabby at all, lad.

As to the one lass with the 5 o'clock shadow what's pluckin' the guitar or lute or whatever, must be careful of using black or dark gray for shading flesh on women especially in the context of Mary Cassatt style pastel palette. Common mistake. . . unless of course this is a gender bender.

But the mother and children paintings are really sensitive otherwise and evoke a very sentimental mood of a mother's love and familial contentment, even without taking the paintings to the further level of finish as did Ms Cassatt. There's enough to get the idea squarely in the canvas. You're doing remarkable stuff, Mr. Plus.

Dear ATPlus, I think You're asking for some picture of Correggio's fresco on the ceiling of the Cupola del Duomo di Parma (the Dome of Parma's Cathedral). I attach herebelow three pictures therebout.
There's an absolutely impressive perspective suggesting the vision of Heaven up above Your head.
Let me know which detail You're looking for, in case,from this absolutely gorgeous, complex and crowded composition.
Anyway You may look also to other Correggio's painting just googling his name. I like his use of bright, luminous palettes, of yellow, as well as his breaking of conventional proportions and rules by elongating feminine body shapes and giving them elegant poses and lines.
