Excellent work, I like them all, but the one of the warrior in the forest is just really great. Very expressive and detailed in all of them.

Hi Alberto,
Great to see you decided to plunge right in and not only join, but show some of your wonderful art right away.
To any others reading this thread- this chap here is a fine sculptor too, folks.

Hope you really enjoy the helpful, friendly atmosphere here like I do - and I look forward to seeing a lot more of your art over the coming months.

If you have any questions about the forum, ArtRage, art, even the weather .. . do just ask. Folk are so incredibly nice here, they will almost always try to help.

There are also two fantastic magazines that have emerged from certain forum regulars over the last six months or so, that are well worth a look. Look in the General Chat category for threads with 'ARtRageUs ' in the title - put together by the splendid Bobby Ray and his very capable team - General Chat (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=8)

Also the other one I already mentioned to you - Stefano Fiore (aka - misterpaint) has his Italian language mag and site - Fan Art Mag (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31851) He is an absolute star round here - extremely talented and very generous with his resources and advice. - Don't read that bit or your head might swell up Stefano.

You will also get loads of ideas and tips from the Tips and Tricks - and Art Supplies sections. Hours of browsing for you to have fun with in those.

Glad to have you here. Enjoy.

12-20-2010, 07:23 PM
yes, well done..:).

12-21-2010, 09:13 PM
... just to complete Nick's illustration of Stefano Fiore's (alias Misterpaint) great contributions, both in the Forum and on the net, to spread the ArtRage gospel, there's also www.artrage.it (http://www.artrage.it) site where You find many interesting information, tips and tricks, videotutorials etc.
It's in Italian language, but the visual part is universally clear, while Italian should not be that difficult to a Spanish, at least after a little adjustment, more or less like Spanish to an Italian I think ...;)
Anyway I guess You'll soon teach more than You may learn probably, since You look incredibly talented, dear mate.
Once more welcome and best wishes!

I have some work to do that I couldnīt show for a while, but first I want to show you a portrait of my anonymous knight, yes, the one that fought the kraken and those hunters at the snowy forest. Oh,I recommend you to click the images because they look strange when resized to fix in here.

He looks like a brave hidalgo and, curiously, as slender as he is, reminds me also of don Quixote! :D You have a professional level for sure and an outstanding artistic talent!

Hi guys!!!Merry Xmas everyone!!!!!An happy new year!!Thanks for the kind words!!
I have been painting this for the last 5 days...these are days to be with the family and not locked in my room drawing, but a company of miniatures asked me to paint some of their characters.I am not happy at all with the composition and color in general...but I hope the like it!!

Edit:Why so small?????

12-30-2010, 08:35 AM
The size here is probably considering that that's for a company of miniatures! :D I don't see why You're not happy at all with this. I would, but I realize Your skills are so outstanding that You certainly know how to do better, so thanks for sharing anyhow.

You are so good with light! Everything about these is so dynamic and dimensional. The characters are all so living and emotive, it's so clear and easy to understand them completely. Fantastic, sir, fantastic.
