View Full Version : With an Umbrella

12-18-2010, 04:52 AM

I was snowing yesterday until midnight last night. So cold but the sun is shining.:D

This painting started as a child holding an umbrella, but praticed TOO much on the face that it turned out quite different from the ref. picture, what can I say?:p

Water color, felt pen, knife and air brush were used. The stickers on the cuffs, bow, collar, buttons and the elephants on the umbrella are my own.

As usual, any comments and advice are welcome.

This one is very beautiful! She has a gentle aspect and a dreamy sight and You worked very well on tones too, so she has volume. The child start remains in the proportions of the chest and of the arms, but she may well be a charming much short lady.

So lovely she is and the attention paid to the ornate details
of her native attire is quite attractive. Just delightful! :)
