Peter, I took these pics from the TV, my husband and I watch Top Gear, I know it was on a very fast hyway, not sure exactly where tho, but am sending another pic over to you and you may recognize it, I am just finishing another one in that same area, a tunnel, will send it over when finished

Thanks Pat............it's on the Isle of Man............the red cliffs fooled me into thinking it was in Devon..........the cliffs there are also known as the Jurassic Cliffs because many fossils from that period are found there.

I think it's amazing that your painting took me back 39 years to a short holiday spent in Devon!

You got the palette and the mood perfectly, dear Pat!
Since the picture looks grainy, probably due to low resolution, I would also test a version with some low pressure chalk on (even with some particular paper grain) to possibly add the same, somehow vintage and romantic effect ...

Thankyou so much Katie appreciate it;)
Caesar, thankyou for your nice comment, Caesar the grainy picture was taken off the TV screen, so it is hard to get a real good pic, but I like to take pictures from the tv, I put them on Pause and snap the pic so I can use them as ref.......I will never get to some of these places so this is the way I travel:D:D
