Here is a new tractor drawing I am doing for my son-in-law. I will try to show my progress along the way

I've a lot of admiration for your drawings of this type. I shall also be following along here. Must be the boy in me, but I'm fascinated by these old tractors. :D

It's already perfect in this form, dear Steve! You've got an incredible graphical talent!

This is amazingly precise. Do you use stencils for every line?

Thank you dear friend Caesar:D:D I will take your advice for the BW version. But I will also try a painted version.

Thanks Stewynofly!!:D All the details are hand done. I used the ruler in ruler mode to sketch the longer spans. I used the circle stencil on the bucket lifters, and used the ovals to loosely sketch out the tires (the hardest part for me). Once it is sketched out, I free hand over all but do still use a ruler stencil for the long spans. Of course, what makes it easier is drawing directly on a video display. I use the WACOM Cintiq 12WX display.

Thanks everyone for the enthusiastic feedback!!:D Old tractors are interesting and a lot of fun to draw. My next projects will be older or classic motorcycles and maybe a 1956 Ford Victoria like the one my dad bought when I was in high school.:):)
