Impressive start! The skin texture seems to show also his face pores!:eek:
A dramatic story with a quite unhappy end, especially for the rebel gladiators and slaves surviving and surrendering in the final battle ... :(

It looks about to be delivered and it's even more credible, as a gladiator, than the too much handsome and polished actor's face ...:D
The best gladiators champ, at that time, were real sport superstar and tombeur de femmes ...:p

Thank you dear Steverino All except the background and dirt.
I used the oil brush and palette knife for the background and the dirt effect I used the mossy stencil( I forgot to mention this at the end:o)
I must confess I was getting impatient and wanted him finished everything else was pencil,palette knife and eraser to clean up the edges.:):)
