Oriane, when I look at your work the term "paint handling" frequently comes to mind -- you consistently convince me that that you are applying physical paint to your images -- until I remember they are digital. Bravo! Al

invitation for dreamers to move forward and no longer only imagine
the wonders within but now to experience them. Excellent artistry,

Oriane -- care to share your technique on these? It's really nice.

It looks like you're (obviously) working very wet, and not blending much at all -- but carefully choosing and dabbing intermediary colors. Are you doing any kind of preliminary color blocking or canvas preparation? It's a great result, and I'd like to give it a try.

Very nice how did you get this texture did you use a speial brushßß

Javier, Harkyman and Janina, thank you for the comments.

Harkyma and Janina no problem about it. It's very simple, I'm putting a picture with the parameters I use.

You have reason, is a direct paint, tone on tone, varying the color values and intensity, many times, putting little touches of paint, but always working with the same brush size, brush size with this (which of course, may vary) and using a light touch on the canvas lets you vary the thickness of strokes (see image) from fine to thicker lines. Sometimes the brush is on the option insta-dry. It's a game.

I do not block initially, but it can be done if desired. When you paint so, wet on wet, you control the color, value (shade or tint), tone (shade and tint) and color intensity, the colors complementing each other, etc ...

That's it, I hope it helps. Anything I am available to talk again. It would be interesting if you take a look at my thread about impasto here (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26594).
