(Reworked image now appears first)
It's been a while since I last posted an image. I've been working on this one for quite some time. It's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it.

As well you should be happy with it.
A marvelous job! I had to take repeated looks to be
sure it wasn't a photo. Well done. :)

Quite nice. It is difficult to draw the beach chairs, especially with the stripe materials. Well done.:)

I really, really love this. The colors are spot on!

I hope you do not mind I did a quick paintover, just suggesting a couple of things that may strengthen the piece a bit.

I extended the painting out to give the beach more of an expanse and a cinematic view. Stretching your painting out a bit wider increases the illusion of space. The empty chairs, along with the more expansive landscape gives the viewer more of a bittersweet 'end of summer' feeling since there are no figures in the space.

I also moved your birds over a bit so they are more 'alone' in the image.

I hope you don't mind the crit and suggestions. It's a strong piece as it is.

It has been said that "three is a crowd" but in this case I would
object for this scenic beach is large and engaging enough to entice
any visitor, with or without a canvas chair. A charming piece and
... last one in is a slowpoke! ;) :)

Thank you, Mairzie. I appreciate your kind words and the time you took to view it.

This painting is really amazing to me! I like it very much!
I'm just missing human presence ... so sad.
Maybe a guy on the shore-line would be melancholic too, but perhaps quite meaningful too to me who lived in a seaside town as a boy.

Coming from someone who's art I think is truly amazing, thank you so very much!

LogicsHere...You really caught the moment, end of season when most of the visitors are gone and some deckchairs catch the last of the summer sun,I just love sea and beach paintings anyway, but you certainly caught the mood alright, well done.....Jack.

Thank you, Jack. Your kind words mean a lot to me as they come from someone who is a master at painting the sea.
