Here is a painting done in ArtRage of the trail "Into the Woods" in our back yard... the barn would be over to the left.

Again, I love the trees. You really give them life of their own. Great painting. I would enjoy walking into the forest.

I must give credit where credit is due. I learned so much about painting trees by doing an online search for a tutorial. The one I found and really liked was by a member by the name of http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/customavatars/avatar3242_1.gif (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/member.php?u=3242) Khalid_ipda (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/member.php?u=3242). I used his basic technique and I was very happy with the results.

mojo1975,
The path beckons me onward with an invitation to explore the yet to
be discovered beauty within. The lush palette and artistry is most
appealing, a fetching piece indeed. :)

This is a wonderful painting.
I've followed many such paths into the woods, and
this just brings those memories pouring back.
Great job!:)

I am really happy the way this painting turned out. I love how you can see the sky/light through the tree tops, and then when you let your imagination walk down the gravel path and you squint to try to really see into the shadows of the trees; it almost seems as if there really is something around that corner.
