I like this old barn. The details are very good. I found myself bouncing back and forth around the picture to see all the different things you put in there all of which were very good. The treeline is fantastic.

I like this painting very much. Colours are warm and the proportions of the complementary green and orange areas just perfect in my view.

Thank you all very much for your kind remarks. I was quite pleased with this picture, but the more I look at it the more I do not particularly like the grass. I do mow the yard, I really do. Does anyone have any tips on doing grass? In the other picture I posted (Into the woods) I was much happier with that end result. The other thing I have noticed is that I like doing a bunch of trees together more that an individual tree. So much easier. Anyways, Thanks again. ArtRage is getting me inspired to begin real painting again. If I ever get one done, I will get it posted. Again, thank you all for your comments!

I'm not sure I understand something you wrote - Isn't this a "Real " painting?! You must've meant Traditional, not real, correct? I am a traditional and digital artist. (I Sell images in both formats.) Happy Painting!!! in whichever you chose.

You are correct. I should have said traditional. But with my family and work, it is so hard for me to do "traditional" painting because of all the mess I make. Even though I am painting in artrage, it sometimes does not feel "real" because I am missing the smell of the oil paints and thinner along with the brushes that need cleaning and the rest of the mess to clean up. I am actually going to print these off and get them matted so that I can join a local art club. As long as the members vote me in, the only obligation I will have is to work 1 shift every two weeks (for free of course) at their gallery in the mall. At the same time, I am able to use their facilities to paint. Can't wait.
