Here's my third attempt at watercolor. Everything has started to come together now, but it's been a struggle. Painted onto about six layers with with wet on wet watercolor brush at 70-80% thinness, dry watercolor brush for details at about 50% thinness, and "just water" watercolor brush in the background bushes and sky. Hope you like it.

California's Pacific Grove used to be a Methodist summer meeting area and they still have lots of the little cottages, all well kept up with flowers etc. for landscaping. This cottage is on a quiet side street only about 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, and you can smell the salt air and hear the sea gulls and waves crashing in the distance.

Very nice water color in this painting.:) Love those charming pink windows!

I am still trying with the water color. Funny that I could do fine on paper but the digital water color really makes me confused!
