I started this one yesterday morning. Inspired by two of my favorite artists Roger and Martyn Dean. I have more work to do with them, but I wanted to post them anyway because I was so happy with the results of the glazing so far. I will be sure to work on the water also.:o
First one without glaze. The second one two more layers one with watercolor glaze and the third layer with metallic 98% watercolor glazing.

Pat, Jasmine, AT, and Mike: Thanks so much for your kindness. I cannot wait to work on this one some more. Experimenting with these things is a help to my illustration I am working on also.:)

Haha Evelyn, these guys were kings of architectural and artistic design during this era 70's-maybe a few hallucinations are where they obtained most of their ideas. I love their designs though-and it is wild to me that they did not have the easy technology that we have. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks so much Katie!

Thank you Javier-gosh I can't seem to type today-I keep having to re-edit. I hope you get a chance to view Outer Limits and let me know what you think. I know I need more practice-but I am pleased with the landscaping part.:)

Alexandra,
A place of imagination and whimsey. These mermaids seem to be
sharing a pleasant secret with their smiles. Enchantingly blue and
just love that moon influenced sky. :)

I thought about you MaryAnn when I painted this one! I hope you have a chance to view the finished one, and I hope you like it too. When I read your comment I thought-Blue Enchantment....much better than Outer Limits!:p

Alexandra,
Blue's and all things Moon related are favorite art expressions of
mine. Thank you for thinking of me and am now anxious to see
"Blue Enchantment." :)

Hi MaryAnn, I asked Dave and he was nice enough to move this for me. I am so glad that you were able to see my comment and so happy that you liked my finished version. Thanks again!
