Jim this is such a detail painting and tells such a story of village life. I could see this scene on a village green here in England. Well done:)

Jim Walsh,
I would make a point to stop, enjoy a fresh salad and linger in this most
inviting place for awhile. Beautiful detailed art work ... bright, sunny,
carefree and well painted! :)

thank you all for your kind words. i'm glad you enjoy my art. this stand is actually on a very busy city street. i ignore the crowds, cars, buses, and horns, to concentrate on the delicious flavors and aroma of the watermelon, strawberries, mangos, bannanas, and pineapples; and the friendly, courteous service of the owners. this is in my painting as happy, bright colors, and fanciful trees.:):)

Ceasar, I'm sure with this free world-wide publicity that every visitor to the city of brotherly love will now flock to 18th and JFK for a taste. ;)
