The story is sad, but unfortunately quite frequent in the old times, like a melancholic tale or novel with a noble character and a tragic end.
This painting is, nonetheless, pure visual poetry!

The story about Marychka Magdonova is very sad. Itīs life. The poem was written by Czech poet Petr Bezruc about 1899. The collection of poetry called Silesia songs. Your work is beautiful.

Beautiful high mountains, wonderful tall trees and a little lady who looks so lost. You have portrayed the story with such a delicate and moving painting. Well done:)
