Long time away again, but here is something new.
This is a more personal piece which has been under work since 2006. I have tried different programs but finished finally with AR.

4sk0,
What a wonderful grouping of excellent artwork. The "rose" is an
exceptional rendering, am quite enamored with it's striking beauty.
Also noticed is the integration of your avatar into the armour of the
female warrior, a personal and very creative touch. Well painted all. :)

4asO,
Your latest two entries, and I hesitate to call them only sketches, are
commanding and skillfully executed. You have well expressed the
emotion of sheer anger in "Ji-In Cho from Kryptena" and then strength
and determination with the latest update as she rides strong willed, with
the passion of a warrior.. Excellent art work! :)

Irdewirium knight

I have mostly used the ink pen with low opacity (10-50 %). There is some sticker spay bristle2 in the backround with wet palette knife.
The axe with its textures is a rendering of a 3D model.
Decorations in the cuirass and horse were done with artrage, but almost all decorations have been bent and beveled with other programs.
Stones around got their textures with the help of stencils done from free stone textures.
Reference was taken from a photo I took 2009 at Turku medieval market.
Overall around 95+ % Artraging, and originally just a sketch of the cloak :D
Some inspiration from good old Icewind Dale too.

Brilliant! Very full image. Love the detail and the close up of the face shows a remarkable drawing. Very well proportioned features. Also like the garments and all the decoration and lion head clasp. Very nice indeed.

A little hint: In future, you may want to be careful about tangents as created around the horses muzzle lining up with the edge created by the line of the side of the horse and her boot. When those all overlap having similar character, it diminishes the illusion of depth between them. As a little fix, sometimes it can be lightened behind just enough that the values are not so close.

But this is absolutely brilliant. I am very very impressed with your imagination and ability to bring something like this into "reality". Congratulations!

A neutral yet somehow cold expression on her face. Could make for a scary apparition on an isolated roadway at night. Amazing stuff
