My version of a scene from the movie "Dances With Wolves", where the Lakota woman, "Stands With a Fist" is wading in the shallow river alongside her village.

Caesar - Thank you very much. I appreciate it. :)
I've been out of action for awhile trying to get my arthritis down to a loud roar, and was more than a little apprehensive about taking this project on.
Have to say that I'm happy the way it turned out.
Glad you agree.

MagenSparks - That you recognized it without being told, is music to my ears! :) Thanks!! :)

Scott - I'm really glad you like it. Thank you. :)

EB - Thank you very much. :)
AT - Many Thanks. Very much appreciated. :)
Coops - Thank you so much. :) I watched the movie again last night, and after doing so, felt even better about how the painting turned out.
Eighty - Thank you. I've been plagued by the big A for years, I just get bull headed once in a while and don't take a break from the things that aggravate it (like painting :) ). I just need to be a little smarter and stop it before it gets out of control. :)

Amanda - Yeah, I have the special edition DVD also, and it's GREAT. Almost an extra hour of movie, plus the great director and producer comments.
I am so happy that you liked the painting.
When I look at the talent of the people in this thread, who have said they liked this painting - I am just really touched. :)
