I just saw with my younger boy the second movie of Arthur (and the minimei) on a DVD and this fantasy painting seem to take me back to the movie, dear Sandra! Delightful!

Alexandra,
I have heard that certain garden gazing globes could hold magical
properties within and these tiny sprites have found it, So precious
and whimsical. Just love this and very beautifully painted! :)

If you look just right, you can see these little ones everywhere. For some reason, this really reminded me of this Miyazaki movie called Princes Mononoke. Dude has a fantastic imagination. There are these awesome little thingies in Princess Mononoke that popped into my head when I saw this.

I found a video with them in it, (you have to see them move to understand) but there is also some reviewer from the NYTimes talking about it. If you watch the first 30 seconds, you'll see what I'm talking about. =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoZpCmcnM_s
