A very quick oil sketch - appx 2 min. (To see how quickly I could create an effect.)
REVISED - I rethought the effect - I think this is better. Do You?

Wow Skylar, this is amazing, it could bring big money in a fancy gallery. I love the play of light, especially the wet floor, its fantastic.

Geesh! It takes me two minutes to decide on my next stroke. Compelling stuff LSB. I love it.

SC, Robert, Sandy - Thanks! I was mulling over the look & suddenly it hit me that it should still be raining - so the Revised piece.

both are excellent

Yup, the second one looks more dynamic.
Two minutes? Shoot, we might as well all quit and go home. :D:D:D

But we won't! :):):)

I like both of them. The top one allows me to see the amazing details you got in 2 minutes, while the bottom one has more of the feel that lends to the title.

I like them both Skylar, they are both excellently painted. The second one makes me think that I am the one inside the car keeping dry.:)

Love the hues here... and the contemporary touch to the whole scene. They are both excellent, Skylar.

Jibes, Jim, Hin,Magen, Coops, AT-TA - Thanks for the great respones. As you all know, I seldom post anything this loose. it was fun, but, now I am compelled to do a more refined piece!!

You know Skylar, I like the first one best, because to me, it has that rainy look and mood to it. It is just excellent! I hope that you put this on a large canvas!:)

Wonderful effect east, and a virtuoso in the matter:):):)

Both of them are good. The second one does evoke the feeling of wanting to get indoors and out of the down pour.

Both are well done. Beautiful Skylar.
