still trying ?? still keeping from oil use mainly pencil and brush very thin I'll have ago when more used to the tablet comments welcome it also seems small but I havn't worked that out yet :confused::confused::confused:

I think this is a great portrait. I love the simple use of chalk, or crayon. Painter excels at the graininess of real materials. If only the tablet could feel like the rough paper! It is small on the canvas. When you do a new painting use the zoom out so you can see the whole canvas and can start your drawing to fit the size of the canvas. If you draw small you also run the risk of the drawing being pixelated and fuzzy if you enlarge it to print.

Great work, really professional.
