I'm new on here. I've been finding my way round Art Rage after using Photoshop and Painter for years. This is the first real work I've done using Art Rage. It's a children's book I wrote for preschoolers and I've put it on Lulu. (I'm not allowed to put the url up because of spam, or something. You can search for it on Lulu as: Sweet Pea What to Wear) The printed version came today and it looks fab. I've also had an iPhone and iPad app made of it, which should be out soon, they're just waiting to get through the Apple review process.

I've found I really love Art Rage. It's as though the guys at Ambient really thought hard about what to leave out, unlike the bloated, confusing, and expensive competition.

Here are a few pages from the IPad version...

Outstanding! Welcome to our little community. There are some very creative people here. All of us are in the process of learning this wonderful program, and its attributes.

Welcome, it is good to see you here. I have been endlessly fascinated by your illustrations in the Dorling Kindersley books.
My favorite is http://www.hartas.eclipse.co.uk/Old_House_1_Zoom.html
Looking at it again years later I am still finding lovely amusing details in there.
Your new Sweet pea illustrations are adorable, you have a great talent.

Thank you everyone for your kind welcome.:) I hope to put up some more work as I continue with Art Rage. I'll probably be asking for your expert help in the technical dept!

Also wonderful to hear your memories of my earlier work, Shechat. I remember doing those paintings with old fashioned pen and ink on giant boards. I got so tired of the detail I had a friend help me colour in, both of us working on the same board, one upside down, listening to the Archers on BBC Radio 4.

Welcome to here Leo. How utterly charming. She reminds me of my nine year old grand-daughter who is very daring and creative in her clothing choices. The only difference is that her socks would probably not match. :)

She's adorable.

I'm going to make sure my mother sees these, as I think my niece and a couple young cousins would love books like this.
