Dear Caesar,
You have seemed to have painted a reflective mood even more so than
a wistful scene where a shower is ending. So soft and quiet, as if at last
the storm will soon pass and the sun will reappear from behind the mist
laden clouds to once more merrily shine. Pensive and beautifully painted!! :)

Thank You, dear Wenkat! A speedy painting to capture some of the lighting and misty effect, the mood and the essentially tonal and limited palette into an halfway abstract and impressionistic image.:)

The sky and landscape show often goes on, in front of my terrace, dear Amanda, with the weather, the clouds, the sunset and the moon and stars playing many different pieces on this stage. Thank You! :p

We do have showers too here in Italy, dear Rick, and in this last couple of weeks, more than usual for this season. They often provide rare and magical views too in our natural and architectural scenarios. Thank You!

Dear Mary Ann, thank You for the insightful comment where a meaningful similitude is revealed.
You perfectly captured the moment with the sensations, the feelings and the considerations which may naturally come to our mind.
You made me remind that there's a superb poetry by Giacomo Leopardi, one of the greatest poet ever, entitled "La quiete dopo la tempesta", more or less, "The calm after the storm" which would particularly fit this image, but unfortunately, it's among the too many masterpieces requiring the knowledge of Italian language to be adequately enjoyed ...

Simple but delicious. A fantastic sky!

Dear Anna, I think this was just what was supposed to be little more than a speedy study to get colors and tones of such an ephemeral moment. Sooner or later I might resume it and make something better out of it. Thank You!

I did, dear Kahlid, and on a quite smaller than usual size, since it was intented to be a little more than a sketch to capture such weather condition. Thank You!

Thank You, dear Oriane! Although it was just a quickie, I'm glad I extracted a quite universally perceivable feeling and mood with it ...
