My first impression was that it had been painted

This looks so gorgeous, dear Katie!
I'm therefore thinking too about using Oriane's lessons too on a flower as an experiment, sooner or later. Maybe it would be better some time after this and other floreal wonderful works are no more that present to possibly intimidating my attempt outcome ....:rolleyes::)
