Speed painting for a character concept. It's an evolution of the character thumbnail you can find at page 4 of my latest PDF ("Thumbnail rendering with ArtRage markers"). Most of the painting was done using some custom rake brushes I created for ArtRage (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29276).

Got the 'go to the edge of the seat-feeling' that the action-packed movie is about to begin! Cool!

I love your pdfs. I also love your work. What do you normally start your canvas size and dpi at? What size and dpi do you work in when you have to deliver CMYK to a client? Thanks in advance.

Hi RegnR8! I never had to print anything I created with ArtRage yet. When I am working on something that is going to be printed I usually work with vectors, so the DPI concept becomes pretty versatile :)

Last non vector artwork I had to deliver for print was more or less 9000*6000 at 300 dpi, and it was made with Photoshop/Painter and a bit of Xara Xtreme.

When painting with ArtRage I usually work with 3000*something pixels unless I have some special needing.

Thanks a lot for your words! :)
