His Majesty's Starship Wessex flies past the house of fools....

A thousand years on, under a toxic sky, still we haven't learned.

'I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss'

Just in case you don't know we are having an election here!

Edge detect stencilled with paint tube, glitter, knife, airbrush and stickers on lots of layers.

Powerful and cathartic! You was already aware of the British elections results then ...
It reminds me of an old PC game, The War of the Worlds, I liked to play, also as the Martians boss.
This is similar to the ending battle scene and ... I sometimes wondere whether burning a parliament, each now and then, is really that bad for that nation ...:D I'm kidding. I'm sure though that the fools percentage is not that different from the rest of the people. Quite for sure the share of sons of shameless mothers looks higher :p

frazer_paice,
Connecting an invading maraude of unsavory space alians with turmoil
within is poignant and speaks a thousand words. The use of volcanic
reds in the painting also exemplifies the emotional direction of the art
piece and descriptively appropriate poem. Excellent, well painted and
quite inspiring to the point that a poem of my own just popped out of
my head, moving my thoughts in the direction of a "one size fits all"
theme that is celebrating and in keeping with your subject matter. :)

Circumspection ~

Oh take heed my fine but dullard friends ~
For fear that you may replay the same miscue's again ~
'Tis not the location ... nor the time ~
History's boobs may repeat themselves like a loathly rhyme ~
You best mind our predecessors buffoonerie's of the past ~
Lest they repeat themselves by royally kicking thou in the _ _ _ ~

Ta Daaaaaaaaaaaaa! :D :D :D
