Briex... great aircraft painting... very vibrant and the contrast of the sky/hills and the mechanical smooth yet complex shapes make for very cool images.;);)

Battle of Britain over Dover. A compilation of the several photos collected from the internet: white cliffs, 3 x aircraft and old paper (for making my painting antique looking). Smoke plume added to the German Messerschmitt. Combined in photoshop, afterwards painted with oil in Artrage on 1200 x 800 mm, 127 dpi print size. Result:

Done in top pro fashion! You are a great artist.
I would like to see you post them with a ppi greater than 800 pix one the shortest side so we could click on each and see them whole. I view on a laptop and have to scroll around to see the whole painting.

I really love the 1st one:):)

I've now changed that "Battle of Britain"-painting as I found the Messerschmitt too closed-up, too large which destroys the depth of the landscape. Even the small Spitfire in the background is re-sized... See first post.

Hang on a sec while I wipe the slobber off my keyboard. Really great stuff. Love aviation myself, though I've never gotten much beyond MS Flight Simulator.

Now I added a new painting made with Artrage (added to first post as well). Basically it's a compilation of 2 x separate pictures found on the internet. Combined in Photoshop. I copied the plane and scaled it to make the second plane in background and of course I changed the registration number into 22. Painted with Artrage oil brush and smoothened here and there (especially the blue air) with airbrush. In Photoshop my original Artrage painting got a finish with a transparant layer of an old canvas structure image found on the internet.

The final result:
