I became immediately transfixed with admiration when viewing this
exceptional "Expressionism" grouping. Even though most would
hesitate to admit visiting this place of consciousness on hopefully
rare and mood driven occasion, you have somehow captured with
your art, the very essence of this emotion and the displeasing state
of the mind during this disquieting interlude and ... the ultimate
conclusion?... an inner sensation of "melting" as you have so poignantly
captured on canvas in the last piece.

These paintings are a dramatic representation of life's forces that, at
times, invade the psyche without benefit of invitation or party ballons.

Captivating and remarkable art work ... absolutely beautifully painted. :)

I love the first one best. The combination of brush strokes and color are superb and really convey a sense of this being a psychological inner portrait. Your work always blows me away Oriane!

Wonderful exploration Oriane. I love the deterioration of the subject as we progress through the series, until we reach the last one where the subject has been lost completely to the medium. :):)
