Here's a new experiment result. It's a oil painting.
The scene is completely imaginary and I used a couple of my elaborated colour sheets to make a very speedy background.
The rest, from a rough sketch, took some more time, but not more than other figure paintings (on one layer only).

Hey! You there!!!! Hoof-boy!!!!! Cease and desist!!!! Unhand yon nubile nymphet. She is not interested in equestrian Olympic events. . .Run along, run along. Nothing to see here. . .

Nicely painted. Great form. Good expression that even the unwashed masses should understand. Well done, Caesar. . . :):):):):)

Thank You, dear Paul, Katie, Al, Scott, Anna, Sandra, Oriane, D Akey and EB! :)

I'm just a little disappointed by the fact that the figures and some other added-on detail are not the neat as they should and, somewhere, still a little transparent.
The problem is that I usually make my paintings, when I've some time, on a quite old screen (TCO99) and PC and I actually realize my outcome only later on, on a far better screen. Moreover my cheap pen isn't working very fluidly anymore ... No excuses anyway, if I were Caravaggio, I bet I could do far better also with them and using my mouth!:D
