Somewhere out there, is a fisherman saying "Just one more cast - then, I'll go in....Well, unless I catch one - then, just one more cast......"

Sometimes when I have looked at the screen too long, I I cannot see the forest for the trees. After I got a clear look at this one, I was not at all happy with either the hillside, nor the water, so I did some work, and uploaded the new one.

Nice! Carries the tone of the impending clash. And very powerfully painted. The bold sweeping shapes above and the linear, banded shapes below give it a very modern, emotional, symbolic tone. Curve against straight. Hot against cold. Active against passive. A lot of implied pressure, and much tension. Pretty cool. . . and hot! Might be something here for you to hang onto and explore further in other paintings. :):):):):)
