Im still in Venice, XVIII century, this time with a sort of comics scene rather than a doge painting.
It was really speedy with pencil outlining and the filler.
Ronḍ was a typical kind of music they used to play and dance there at that time during aristocratic parties.

Lovely painting, I really like the way you can change, your style of painting, from time to time, to me that is the sign of a fine artist, indeed.:)

Thank You, dear Paul and Sandra.
I don't feel like a fine artist, but curious of art and styles for sure.
Actually drawing is my eldest work activity (I was hardly one and I first portraid my granny Ida at two in a quite recognisable way through :p).
Creating and drawing comics could have been an interesting study and job too I unfortunately didn't pursue.

You got her so mad, Ceasare, maybe because she wanted to be in oils and not in pastels.... anyway a great work. :)

Thank You, dear Jon! A great compliment from a master of comics like You cannot but make me proud and flattered ...

Dear AT-TA, actually she got her oil figure portrait on my last classical attempt (I should perhaps improve little on the face at least and she liked it.;):p:) Thank you!

Dear Jibes, You're always very kind and encouraging. Thank You very much!

Interesting that you mentioned comics. This lovely, loose style would be perfect for a graphic novel.
