The photographer lick lick, also known as a garden photographer, often by using a garden as background for the photos. The lick lick is a professional in extinction. Present from the nineteenth century in the public spaces of the cities, had an important role in the popularization of photography.
The origin of the lick lick name: in processing the photo, licking the plate glass inside the box to see which was the emulsion side.:)

So wise in using the red shirt against the green foliage drawing the eye to the focal point. It is as if the viewer is another lick lick centering the subject in the view finder. Wonderful application of paint as always Oriane!

Nice composition. good use of center of interest and the rest of the composition keeps the eye in the picture looking at other elements.

Is the umbrella an example of the "impasto" style you were talking about?
