It never ceases to amaze me what can be extruded from a gloop pen!
Wonderful!

The word 'gloop' belies the grace and speed of this magnificent creature. . . and the beautiful rendition of same. Her wings are Sheerer than gossamer. I have always been amazed by the prismatic effect in the wings of the dragonfly. It is as if they are fueled by rainbow. The tiny framework reminds me of dream catchers, only for color and light.

Your painting is timely as it is well done. I believe that getting the essential quality is paramount. It speaks of your ability to apprehend the portrait sitter, and release them all in a single motion. Like extending your finger and having something as flighty and elusive as a humming bird lite upon your finger for a few quick breaths. Certain creatures connote time and timing like dancers.

Beautiful yet not so gloopy and slow as amber, Ms. Coops. Quicker. I see a lot of movement in this. :):):):):)
