Dear Katie, I like it very much.:):) It's light, soft,ethereal...a fairy flowers. Beautiful like the others of yours last works. Could you illustrate a story about flowers ?

Thank you Silvy, your words are very touching and if I were to ever illustrate flowers then there would have to be a dancer or a butterfly floating in the breeze. Thats painting for you I guess:)

Ms Coops, this is wonderfully descriptive of a dancer posing in a perfect dance shape. And what comes to mind is the flowers being a bit like camera flashes, later to be painted in yet another artistic expression, in an attempt to transpose one artistic form of the same idea into another, in parallel based on the same source inspiration.

This creates in my mind a relation between the different notes, a sort of musical chord, the lost chord that the Moody Blues sang of searching for.

On another line of thinking, the blossoms are emerging from the darkness, coming into being. It speaks of time to me. And the dancer's pose evokes different thoughts, one, that she is reaching up to touch them as they appear, two, that her artistic expression is connecting heaven and earth, and another way to look at it is from bottom to top, she dances and something like organic fireworks are going off. Etc etc. . .

I like the translucency. It adds a tone of grace and delicacy as well as something that is coming into view as into the light or through a fog.

Most artistic, Ms. Coops. I love the dancer's outfit. Speaks of love and dreams, which sort of tells me this is a symbolic representation of 'Inspiration'.
