What I was after on this piece was a super surreal ambiance for a realistic guitar. On the north coast beach I frequent a lot I came upon a large piece of very weathered and large driftwood. The lighting was very intense and the guitar absorbed a lot of color. Took a lot of pics for ref purposes. Started cropping, resizing and reassembling driftwood into various shapes and forms using AR SP. Then knifed forms together keeping the guitar intact. Lots of things just started to happen, a driftwood lady appears on the left as if waiting for the musician to come and play for her.
The textures of the driftwood and knife were great to play around with...TJ

Great to have the insight into your process Tony.. thanks for sharing that. The piece is so wonderfully surreal, love the background created from the wood it looks amazing :):)

This is one of my favorites of yours! I agree with Skylar--itīd work great as a cover for Stevie Ray.

Saw this a few days ago and have gone back several times to look again. It has staying power, Tony. Love the concept and the look of the ooze.
