A very evocative and powerful painting, dear Speggie!
It made my think it would be a perfect cover image for Carlos Ruiz Zafon's book "The Angel's Game".

Knowing some of the story, David, I'm happy to say that I actually see, despite the obvious heart wrenching presentation of the pain of loss, more than a glimmer of the beauty that the morrow brings even while clinging to the pain of the past.

All of those emotions are well and poignantly presented here, my friend, and this piece speaks with a voice of its own that transcends words and glows on a spiritual level.

Time does not heal all wounds. Time heals nothing. But with time comes the acceptance of things we cannot change and the realization that there is still a season to laugh that must overcome the season to mourn. She would not want you to forget her but she would want you to laugh.

Be well. Take care of your wife and your children. And that all starts with taking care of yourself.

This painting has a stillness and a sadness that is quite moving. Excellent work.

Hey speggie, strong contemplative image, I guess this one means alot to you and painting it helped you through these days,.. another year's gone and it still hurts the same, i can feel with you. I think Robert perfectly got the point with his statement.Take care and best wishes to you and yours.
