Count me in on Happy Hour! I love the festive mood to this one, Oriane. It captures life like someone snapping a picture in time - a memory not forsaken.

Lively and vibrant! Really impressed by all the details and the little stories that add together to make up the whole piece!

Oriane, I haven't commented on your work since the forum got so busy, but, as always, I stand in awe of your vision.

Oriane,I like the airiness in these works as usually there's a colorfull banquet taking place in them......... but i see a little change in style..it is softer... but my, it is as always an eyepop....... :)

This is a superlative painting and a masterpiece in its genre, dear Oriane!
All is fanntastic here and, curiously enough, I kept looking to the roof details since I liked very much that framing element.

Interesting subject. The woman standing in the door looks well painted considering the scale. That reminds me, is there any way to paint single pixels in ASP3?

Great painting as always. Has a great sense of local color to it. I also like your treatment of the roof tiles.

"Once you get started you can't slow down. . ." - Lionel Ritchie

. . .in your case with paintings filled with spirit, color and flavor. I like how you've been focusing on the people as subject side of painting. It's very good for voice. And the town, shapes surrounding them -- of the buildings, roads, etc. just create an earthy, human impact. A voice made up of many diverse voices. "Character driven" as they say in writing.

Eileen, Evelyn, Valerie, Al (nice avatar), Doc, AT, Ceasar, Ice, Coops, AS, Scott, Leah Thank you all for comments. I appreciated everyone's opinion. Thank you all for comments. I appreciated everyone's opinion. :):):)

In this painting, what I liked was the exchange of glances. This, the exchange of glances, provides a dynamic that is, in my view, all the charm of this happy hour. This happened by chance, happy accidents.
