" Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine,
It's hard to tell the nighttime from the day.
You're losing all your highs and lows,
Ain't it funny how the feelin' goes away?"

That is just beautiful Peter, and yes, very cold...right down into the bones.. The kind of cold you get in February in Wyoming.

Adding the random blades of grass and the ice dripping from the wires was a great touch.

Wow....I almost got frostbite viewing this one, Peter! All kidding aside, this is just one absolutely beautiful painting of winter. I love the amount of special detail that you put into your paintings - it just pushes it over the top!

When I was playing drums and singing in rock bands, "Desperado" and "Tequila Sunrise" were two songs that I always insisted on singing. The other was James Taylor's "Steamroller Blues".
Nice job of catching the spirit of the lonely cowboy who rides the range, Peter.
