I have the question: does it matter what kind of base it is painted on? Canvas, paper... etc.

This painting style adds so much more drama and emotion to the painting, Oriane! I love your subject matter with two children playing in the sand where one can relate so easily with it! This painting is not only charming but just so beautifully painted!
