I really want to jump up and do an Avatar, but I've been following too much, so I turned to one of my favorite sources of fantasy, The Ring Trilogy. This is a combo of oil brush and airbrush work.

Looks like a normal child. Actually, it looks better than a hobbitt. :)

I can imagine this as a young Merry, listening to Uncle Bilbo's tales of Dragons and warriors. Nice work!

You are a very inspired person Skylar,
still , did you see the Heroes series before you make the choice of your nickname? or there are some other reference to know?
In any case your paintings have something slightly strange and beautiful in the same time.

Thanks everybody! This was a fun project after painting all that water.
Dany - Heros got it from me. I was born with it. I just simplified the spelling when I was in my 20's. It's actually spelled: SCHUYLER.

Valerie - Thank you so much. I have turned my interest to diff subject matter, as you see. This throws a lot of people, but I am constantly exploring, and the more diff things one paints broadens and expands the whole mental library, if you will.
Dany - the spelling caused mispronouncements, therefore the simplfication. Thanks regarding "Harry".
