Haven't posted anything in a while and have had little time to comment on things. An interesting story goes along with this one. I saw this picture on a coworkers calendar and really wanted to try painting it. I wasn't able to get it that day so I thought I would google it. So I googled "Bunny in Snow", what came up was certainly not this little fluffball, but something that would probably go well in the after 9 o'clock gallery.:D Anyway, here is this fluffy bunny in snow. Enjoy, and please give me some feedback if you wouldn't mind.

LOL! Yes, words certainly have new (never thought of) meanings when you google them! This is fantastic and looks like a real watercolor!

LOL!!! I have run into this soooo many times in my career. I was working as an environment artist at Jaleco Entertainment some six or so years ago. I was told we needed to make a particular area of the game very lush and green with low growing plants. Well in my eagerness to produce good results I was not thinking too much about my search terms, so my search for "beautiful bush" turned out to be one of those embarrassing moments at the office.

More on topic: Your watercolor treatment is so genuine looking, so water-colory. Thanks for posting. :)

Accolades to the funny search results and I won't share what results I got when I was researching a ? one of the grandkids had about about beavers.
Really well done DM. Eleven more and you can make your own calendar.

What a wonderful painting, DMerchen! I also found the google search story rather funny as well as Fashmir's and Robert's!!! I just hope that I didn't wake anyone (it's 3am here) with me laughing so hard out loud!!! I can't help believe that most of us have experienced such things when we searched for something on the internet (I know I have, too!)!

Thank you all so much! I truly appreciate your compliments and comments on this. I really tried to capture the watercolor look and prove that I could do it, so I really do appreciate the comments concerning the watercolor appearance. I showed it to a friend at work and she said she had difficulty seeing that it was a rabbit. Believe me, the rabbit was difficult for me to do with watercolors, but I am still pleased with the outcome. Thanks again.
