Beautiful painting, Peter. Besides, the fine work on the grasses, also like the depth and distance you have painted on this. :)

I love the grass, heck, the entire landscape is awesome :)

The depth of this image has a shocking effect of realism Peter. Very nice transition from far to near. A vast place your imagination I'm thinking. :)

I love this, too, Peter...it's a real beauty! The realism is simply remarkable on this piece. People talk about me painting grass so realistically but I believe you have me beat by a landslide!

Thank you all for your kind comments:):):):):):):)

@ Likoum and Fashmir and anyone else interested.........the grass, as I explained on a previous post, is all down to Fashmir's fur stickers........I used to paint grass blade by blade and now it is just so much better.........Thank you David. It's the frosted fur sticker at various sizes.

@jonwood..........no not the Pyrenées .....just somewhere from my imagination............I never ever use references........although you could say that what I have in my head was seen at some time so I suppose that is a reference of a sort(?)

The damp weather sensations are perfectly evocated and the close range is absolutely stunning in all the details!
