I did a doodle for asking a question in the technical forum. Looking at it again today I thought it was kind of fun so posted here. :):):)
100% AR
Ink pen (plus glitter & palette knife with blur settings to mold form) Edit: Oh, what the heck, why not go for a new avatar too. :D:D

Thanks all. Much appreciated. :):)

AT-TA: Yes, after the encounter with Caesar, I left bare to the bone. :D:D:D

It really looks like a 3-D sorta flag ...
I hope it's not my retaliation-intended portrait the guy I see on it.:D

Evart, Katie, Caesar: thanks a bunch.

Caesar, I'm not telling, except to say it will happen once you think everything is safe. :D:D:D:D

gotta say I love the new avatar. It proclaims joy and happiness from the right side of the screen whenever you say anything. It's like a nice visual signature. :D

Cool new avatar, Byron, and an effective 3-D effort. :o

By the way, I can almost see  the avatar's mind working on fiendishly clever and devious "Caesar Plans.":eek::eek:

Gray, jbyrjbyr1: thank you both for really very kind words. Much appreciated.:):)

jbyrijby1: And you might be right, but I can't say for sure. But it's possible Caesar will never know what hit him.:D

I'm gonna give this a go tonight from your tutorial. I tried it briefly the other night with very little success. Nothing even remotely close to your result. I love this little image and it makes a great avatar! It makes me curious as to the limits of this technique. The ingredients have the potential to take this software places we haven't seen yet! Very cool Byron and brilliantly rendered!

this reminds me of the atari days.. good memories there :p

Eddie - thanks bunches. For starters selecting the palette knife in the blur mode try with pressure and sofness both at about 25% - then vary slightly from there to vary the effects. For your glitter use grit at 100% size. Give a yell if it's still not working. ;):)

Blury - thanks a lot. :)
