Very nice, did you use the rolling brush for this? Beautifully done!

Thank you for your comment. Yes I used roller for the entire picture. It's my favorite tool!

Great work. Did you change the direction the eye was looking from the first pic; is it just the little dap of white that made the difference or did you have to repaint the whole thing? It's very interesting to see the transition. Thanks!

Just great work. I did not know the roller would effect like this, must try it too. Wouldn't give a square shape oil brush the same effect? Another field of investigation comes into my mind...

Lovely painting (and the stages progression is a nice bonus). I can see that the roller has much more potential than I'd imagined.

Hey, I made the lower edge of the eye smaller and more eyewhite as well, that's why she looks more looking left side. The highlight helps to suggest the ball-like shape, but has nothing to do with the eye direction.

Thank you for calling it my style! When we pick ArtRage, we pick a certain style:)

Thank you Briex! Roller tool is great because it keeps all the texture (especially canvas) when you turn up the pressure level. But the disadvantage is that it gives every single stroke a white edge (canvas colour). It blends well when paint on top, but doesn't blend well using palette knife.
So it's good to start with roller and finish in oil.:D

Is there a squared tip brush available in Artrage 2?

There's only one square tip brush and that's Roller, in AR2
Actually Marker works just fine as a semi-square tip brush... I quite like it, especially when using a small sized brush Marker works better than roller I think.

This is just wonderful, gb! I like how you included your progression of each stage of your painting - very interesting! The fact you used a roller brush is even more interesting...well done!

Wow... actually I am amazed how so many people don't use Roller brush:confused:
I bought ArtRage because it has a roller brush in it... Kinda like Artist Oil in Painter but works better.

Great job, very nice to see the developement of the picture.
I like the roller too, but I couldn.t create a painting like this with it.
A big well done.
