Lovely stuff and thanks for showing all 4 stages... Any one of them you could hold up as an image in its own right! I was impressed enough even with just the underpainting..and the sense of mystery,,,

I haven't done much portrait work with AR myself but hope to get round to it soon... I manly use painter for Portraits largely due to the enormous power art your disposal in tetms of colour, lighting adjustment and media... Love the knife though in AR.. really great blending capability

Thank you for your comment. The first one gives you hope and imagination. It's not good to see a painting being '100% finished' of 'fixed', I believe.

You might have noticed my last stage is usually the colour correction version of the second-last one. Some people think I paint just like how it looks, but there are ways to cheat.

Doing portrait in AR is... hard. The texture works amazing but sometimes can be really annoying, especially in portrait when you need a good control over of the colour. As you can see, roller tool works with white edge, and the canvas texture makes her face dirty.
My favorite tool in AR is roller. With this tool I don't need any PS or PT. Painter just got way too many tools and I really like using just one brush to the end. So the simple AR suits me well.
