I had fun with this, most of the colors come from using watercolor, then zapping areas with the fill tool. Sometimes good happens, sometimes not.
But always interesting to throw things to the wind like that. Keep the fill tool on a transparent setting for best effect.
The background happened in such a way that a Deep sea diver ( with one of those fishtank headthings) appears to be lurking in the background to the right, perhaps preparing for a pick-up line. My favorite part of the painting.Complete happenstance.
There was also a giant Squid ( artrage three is going to drive me mad, mad I tell you!) that surfaced on the left side, but I beat him back with the smear tool!

Rob, this is hoot of hoots - wonderful, colorful and fun. Ah, that poor old squid. There is something wonderful happening when you just let yourself go - such enchanting imagery just seems to pop out of you. This one is ultra-cool and whimsical - and ART. :):):)

Great idea Rob and very well done! His girlfriend is more symmetric than I thought she would be:D!! The colors in this are great and the subtle designs of the background keep the eye looking for more and more. Yes, AR3 will lead you to earlessness! Keep em comin!!!

Isn't that fun, Rob, to paint just from our imagination? I find it so relaxing and most rewarding... and this is so cool... love the palette and and the lady is gorgeous...very nice...i certainly call this the artpiece.
