An exercise in bump modes and layers.
100% AR3
The "object" is built with glitter, blur blender, ink pen and eraser in several layers with "add" bump modes. The globe is Airbrush and blur blender with the circle stencil. The background a design with gloop pen turned into a sticker, and ink pen for glazing. No filters or other stencils.Hope you enjoy. Comments and commentary welcome.

This spaceship(?) looks like it would have heavy physical weight if you were able to pick it up! Love the colors and organic textures on the ship, and particularly love the darker colors of the planet--just lovely modulations of colors there. And that background is cool as well.
My otherworldling ( or is it really just me, getting to know my inner alien?) is asking me if he can get a ride home on this Starship you have constructed??

Good Lord! This is amazing Byron and worth a lot of time to study! The crystal clear 3D effect blew me away when I initially saw this posted in the main gallery. There is some kind of magic pulling this whole piece together but I can't seem to put my finger on it! The colors add to the effect as well as the composition. This is like going one step further than Salvador Dali! Beautiful piece Byron. Wow!!!:D:):):)

Hi Byron,

Do you know something I don't? Dredging all this stuff up is what happened to preserve various inactive threads when they changed forum servers or something and they hurled lots of history out into the void because nobody had looked at them for a long time. Are you trying to save these or just walking the musty old halls of the long ago and poking at ghosts?

Old friend, just roaming the musty halls. I stumbled in and figured, what heck, why not do a little memory-laning.

Hope you are well. I see you are still clicking the keys.
