Last night, my sister and niece were watching some awards show, and this kid, Taylor (?) won something, but you would've thought he was James Dean! So, For the girls, here's that kid. As Always, From Scratch, One Layer.Started in oil, finished in airbrush - This was really fast, maybe an hour, so forgive the sloppiness.

Skylar, when I took my daughter to see New Moon, every female of all ages including myself blushed, sighed, and nearly fainted. Nice painting.:o:o:o:o

Sandy, nearly every female I know has something to say about this kid. I haven't seen New Moon, but I watched Twilight last week. He has a strange wide flat nose. His eyes are too deep set. I understand he's "sexy", but outstanding? I think it all has to do with his body. That 6-pack, right?

Skylar, it is his demeanor. His eyes, his smile, the way he walks with confidence, yet a gentle considerate nature. No push over, yet protective and kind with women. He is not vain, which is also very attractive. When he speaks, he looks the other character in the eye, and with a grin completely melts the hearts of every woman who watches him.:o

I guess I'll have to give the kid a break! Perhaps.

I really didn't expect much response from this. Guess I was wrong (Again). Thanks, all, so very much.

If you did this from absolute Scratch ( no photo to work on top of) I think it is totally amazing in one hour. With a photo under, still fast! Even I can sense how he would come across to the ladies, and I am usually uncomprehending of such things.

Rob - with the features, I traced the outlines and placement, the rest is just filled in and painted the regular way. The body is just referenced, since all I had to do was get the proportions & placement correct. Shadows, color balance, skin, all that is just my doing. I need to add that if I had chosen to over-paint a photo, this would be a lot better! LOL!
